Eighteen Division I teams will miss the postseason, and another 18 squads in 10 different college sports will trade practice time for remedial classroom sessions under NCAA academic report cards released Tuesday.
Poor Academic Progress Rate scores mean postseason bans in 2013-14 for teams from 10 schools including the women's volleyball team at Florida A&M.
The men's basketball team and the men's indoor and outdoor track team received phase one penalties which will result in a reduction of practice time.
