TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Sports Director Alison Posey spoke with the 2018 NJCAA National Champions Tallahassee Community College women's basketball team Wednesday.
The ladies beat Trinity Valley to win their first ever National title in school history.
They had to win three straight to force a play-in game in the Panhandle Conference to decide who got that second bid to State. They won that, and then they won that play-in game, before a semifinal exit at State.
The ladies earned the at-large bid to Nationals and had to get by two Panhandle foes, including Gulf Coast, the back to back National Champions.
