GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Miami Hurricanes erased a 15 point second half deficit to upset No. 8 Florida 69-67 in Gainesville on Monday night. Angel Rodriguez scored 24 points including a 3-pointer with 16 seconds left that proved to be the game winner.
The Hurricanes scored 48 points in the second half in the comeback and improve to 2-0 on this young season with the win. Florida had a final chance to send it to overtime, but Michael Frazier II missed a jumper from just beyond the lane.
