NORFOLK, Va. (WTXL) - Due to rain forecast all day in the Norfolk area, the MEAC baseball Tournament will not play any games Friday. All games will be made up on Saturday.
Florida A&M won their first MEAC Tournament game Wednesday, defeating Coppin State 10-0. However, the Rattlers lost in the second round, 14-6 to Savannah State, falling into the losers bracket.
FAMU is scheduled for a rematch with Coppin State Saturday at 2:00 p.m. The winner of that game moves on to play the winner of Norfolk State vs. NC Central at 6:00 p.m. Saturday.
