FORT MYERS, Fl. (WTXL) - On Monday, after waiting two extra days to play their respective State Championship games, both Madison County and Wakulla Christian were able to take the field.
The Cowboys took on Port St. Joe for the Class 1A crown, but struggled at the plate, falling 4-0. Madison County graduates eleven seniors off a team that made back to back appearances in the State Championship game, falling both times.
Wakulla Christian got behind early to Miami Christian, and could never fight back, falling 9-3 in the Class 2A State Championship game.
