MADISON, Fl. (WTXL) - Being recognized as one of the Nation's best is the goal of every high school athlete. Each year, 80 of the best high school football players in the country are invited to play in the Under Armour All-America Game.

Madison County's Travis Jay, a Florida State commit, received his jersey Monday. Jay is the fourth Cowboy to earn the right, and he said he is ready to represent the community.

"It means a lot and like, it's hard to explain, but I just accomplished one of my dreams, and I always wanted to play in the Under Armour All-America game, and today it came true so I'm just happy," said Jay. "They look at Madison as we are just small but we really have some players, we have some dogs, we get overlooked because we are small, and for me going up there, playing against top players, I gotta, I gotta show out for Madison."

The 2019 All-America game is set for January 3rd.
