MADISON, Fl. (WTXL) - For the Madison County football team, this week has a business mindset.

For the second straight year, the Cowboys left for Orlando to play in the 1A State Championship game, and for the second straight year, the Boys are looking to bring home gold.

A good Baker squad stands in the way, but head coach Mike Coe says his team focused and ready to get it done.

"There's nothing like Madison County," he said before loading the bud Wednesday. "Close knit community, they love our kids no matter football, baseball band. Our community and our county is about young people and it's about our school."

"We've been here before so we know what to expect," said Travis Jay, who's committed to play at Florida State. "We're not going to go there and think it's going to be easy. We're going to go hard and play hard. Last year we went down, and we're really ready to go and go back and win."

Madison County's match-up with Baker is set for a 1:00 kickoff in Orlando on Thursday.
