TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - The Maclay volleyball team was a set away from the State Final Four this year. They were led by a stellar senior class, and on Monday one of those seniors signed a college scholarship.
Eldonna Steffen signed with Division II West Georgia, and takes a five year Varsity career into the next level. She was second on the team in kills her senior campaign. Steffen said she is excited about the chance to play at the next level, and becoming a part of the West Georgia Wolves was an easy decision.
"It's very exciting, I've waited a long time for this," she said. "I've worked hard in anything I've dope, basketball, volleyball, academically and having my coach here with me and all the friends that have supported me and my family of course it's just been real exciting."
