QUINCY, Fla. (WTXL) - The spring season came to a close Friday night for both Maclay and Munroe, as the two squared off in a spring football game.
Both teams will play independently from the FHSAA come fall, but after a tough few weeks of spring practice, both teams looked for a win Friday. The Marauders of Maclay took a 14-0 lead into halftime, and closed out the third with a Jonathan Griffin touchdown to take a 20-0 lead into the fourth quarter.
The Marauders picked off a Munroe pass in the fourth to tack on six more points, with Maclay closing it out to get the 26-0 win.
