TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - On Wednesday at Maclay, track and cross country stand-out Molly McCann inked with UNC Pembroke.
McCann had her pick of schools, but chose to run with the Braves because it felt like home. She was surrounded by friends and family on her big day, and to finally make things official? It's a good feeling.
"It's really exciting. I've been working on this since I was in second grade. It was my dream to become a collegiate athlete, so it just feels more real than usual. So many different people form my past and present right now are here. I didn't expect this many people to come. It's awesome."
McCann said she plans on studying art and education.
