TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Monday was the first official day of the regular season for high school volleyball season. Both Chiles and Maclay were Regional Finalists last season, and both, looked for their first win of the year as they faced other other Tuesday night.
The two would exchange the first and second sets, with Maclay taking the third 25-12 to take control of the match. The Marauders would seal everything up in the fourth, winning to take the match 3-1.
The Leon Lions were also in action on Tuesday night, on the road at Rickards. Leon too good for the Raiders, as they won in straight sets 25-9, 25-7, 25-6.
North Florida Christian also picked up a road win on Tuesday, defeating Wakulla Christian 3-0 (25-7, 25-3, 25-11). Lincoln also defeated Godby in three sets, 25-9, 25-6, 25-2.
