TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - Sweet Sixteen play kicks off this week across North Florida and South Georiga for high school football teams.

For the Maclay Marauders, things look pretty good. The Marauders enter postseason play 10-0 on the year, and with a bye last week, they've had an extra week to prepare for a good University Christian team in Friday Nights 2A Regional Semifinals.

"It's another game. We have to do the things we've been able to do every game that have allowed ourselves to be successful," said head coach Lance Ramer of Maclay's upcoming contest. "We can't change all of a sudden in a week. We have to stay true to who we are, stay true to form, and let our athletes play. It's going to come down to simple things. Who can win the line of scrimmage. Who can protect the football, take the football away, and make less mistakes, that's the team that's going to win. There's no secret formula."

Maclay hosts University Christian Friday night in that Semifinal contest. Kickoff is set for 7:30.
