DELAND, FL. (WTXL) - Back to back State Championships is a feat no one has accomplished in the Big Bend when it comes to boys basketball. After Maclay's loss to Palmer Trinity, we'll have to wait another year.
The Maruaders scored first in Thursday's State Championship game against the Falcons, but were matched late in the second half before Palmer Trinity scored the game winner in the second overtime period.
Maclay finishes the season 16-7.
