TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The John Paul II Panthers finished the season 6-3, which isn't bad when two years ago, JP2 had just one win on the year.
The Panthers finished second in the North Florida Football Conference standings to St. Joseph Academy, a team they lost a heart breaker to last month.
On Thursday night, the Panthers looked for revenge, as they welcomed in St. Joseph for the NFFC Championship game. The match-up was scoreless at halftime, and there wasn't a whole lot of action in the second half, just a field goal and a touchdown.
Neither were in John Paul's favor, and St. Joseph won 10-0 to claim the Conference title.
