LAKELAND, Fla. (WTXL) - Last season, the Lincoln Trojan boys basketball team made history, punching their ticket to their first ever State Final Four.

They lost in the Semifinals, but that loss, plus the suspension of head coach Dimitric Salters back in January, have provided plenty of motivation to get back to Lakeland and win gold.

The Trojans faced Palm Beach Lakes Friday in the Class 8A State Semifnals, and thanks to senior Dwight Wilson's team high 18 points, Lincoln cruised to the 86-60 win.

They will face Sickles on Saturday in the 8A Championship game. Tip-off is slated for 5:30.
