TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Lincoln Trojan volleyball team hosted Niceville Tuesday night in their final contest before opening District play on Thursday.
The Trojans opened up strong, cruising to a 25-20 win in the first set. Niceville won the second set, but Lincoln closed out strong to win the final two to take the match 3-1.
Madison Fitzpatrick and Amber Grant led Lincoln with 12 kills apiece, while Callie Workman had 14 digs in the win.
The Munroe Bobcats also picked up a win Tuesday, handling East Gadsden in three sets. The win improved Munroe to 2-2 on the season. Reilly Allman and Allison Bergman had 4 kills apiece for the Bobcats, while Morgan Bot served up 13 aces.
Munrow hosts Wakulla Christian on Thursday at 5:00.
