TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - Lincoln sophomore Erin Turral has played varsity basketball since her sixth grade season. On Thursday night, she entered the Trojans' match-up with Leon 20 points shy of 2000.
A baseline jumper sealed up the milestone mark, and Turral admitted she didn't even realize when she reached it.
"I just knew I had to score. I was out here playing, just doing what I have to do," she laughed. "It means a lot because I work hard for it. I deserve it. Senior year, I'm trying to get to 4000 points. That's the next milestone!"
