Lincoln Long Snapper Talks Under Armour All-America Game

Posted

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Every year, at least one player from either North Florida or South Georgia is picked to represent in the Under Armour All-America game, a high school football All-Star game that showcases some of the best players in the country.

This year, Lincoln long snapper Grant Glennon earned the right to play after winning a competition this summer. He's rated the fourth best long snapper in the country, and to represent the Trojans on a national stage is what it's all about.

"For me it's just very nostalgic to sit back and watch the kids perform at a high level," said head coach Yusuf Shakir. "That's what they dream about and that's what they wish for."

"Lincoln for sure has always been that school that everyone knows," said Glennon. "Big time players and prospects have come through Lincoln and being part of that group is something pretty awesome."

Glennon was part of Team Highlight at the game, which fell to Team Armour.
