TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Grant Glennon, a Lincoln High School senior, is rated the fourth best long snapper in the country. On Tuesday, he earned another accolade to his resume- Under Armour All-America Game player.
Glennon received his honorary jersey in front of friends and family Tuesday, a jersey he'll wear January 1st at the game. The senior entered a long snapper competition over the summer, and out of close to 100 athletes, he won, sealing up a spot in this year's All-America game.
"Today's very exciting. It's been a dream of mine forever," he said at the ceremony. "I'm just very thankful. I'm so thankful for everybody to come out today. Very thankful for all the love and support."
Several Division I programs have expressed interest in Glennon. He has not yet made a decision on where he'll play college football.
