NEW ORLEANS, La. (WTXL) - This high school volleyball season, it was hard not to notice junior Madison Fitzpatrick on the court for Lincoln High School.
The Florida State beach volleyball commit led the Trojans with 317 kills, and this weekend, Fitzpatrick and her beach teammate killed the professional competition at the AVP New Orleans Open.
Two 17 year olds made up the team that was just one of four squads out of 27 to qualify for the main draw at the tournament. They went 3-0 on Thursday to punch that ticket, and finished 9th overall out of 16 professional teams.
