TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - At Lincoln High School, the Trojan boys basketball team hosted Leon Thursday in a Class 7A District 2 match-up. The Lincoln boys were undefeated in District play heading in to the match-up.
The visiting Lions took the early first quarter lead, but Lincoln quickly responded, taking the lead late in the first, and holding on to get the District win, 73-65.
At Maclay School, the Marauders took a break from District competition Thursday night as they hosted Port St. Joe. The two were tied midway through the fourth quarter, but the visiting Sharks took over the lead and never looked back, winning 48-42.
