TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - On Thursday at Lincoln High School, Austin Pollack took advantage of the early signing period, signing on the dotted line to continue his baseball career at Florida State University.

"When they offered me it was a no brainer," he said Thursday. "To commit there, the way that my grand-dad played there, all my aunts and uncles have gone there, I think the only person that hasn't gone there in my family is my dad, so I'm just really excited to be able to go there. It's the biggest thing, like I wouldn't be anywhere without any of them. they've done so much for me, I'm just very grateful and I'm just happy they were able to share this day with me."

The lefty ace led Lincoln to a 17-8 record last season, and boasted an ERA under 1.00.
