TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Leon volleyball team fell in a five set Final Four heart breaker last season. That loss has been a motivator this year, and on Tuesday night, the ladies hosted Creekside in the Class 8A Region 1 Final, with the winner advancing to the Final Four.
The Lions took the first set 25-19, but had to battle back in the second set, eventually taking the lead and sealing up the win 25-16. Leon cruised to a third set victory to take the match and punch their ticket to the Final Four.
They will travel to Tampa Plant on Saturday for the Final Four contest.
