TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida High girls soccer team won the 2A District 2 Championship in early January. Last week, in the Regional Quarterfinals, they survived Pensacola Catholic when the match came down to penalty kicks.
On Tuesday night, the Seminole ladies hit the road to Panama City North Bay Haven, a team they knocked out in last season's playoffs. This year, the match didn't go the way the Noles planned. They fell 4-3 in penalty kicks to the home team Buccaneers.
The Leon Lions were also eliminated from the postseason Tuesday night, as they fell 3-0 in the Class 4A Semifinals to Niceville.
