TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - The Leon volleyball team has lost in five set heart breakers the last two years in the State Final Four. This year, the Lions are looking to get over the hump.
Their journey to state continued Tuesday, as Leon welcomed in Bartram Trail to the Lion's Den. The visiting Bears took the first set 25-22, but Leon controlled the match from there, winning the next three sets to win in four and punch their ticket to the State Final Four.
The Lions will host Hagerty Saturday at 2:00.
