On Friday morning, two of the best young athletes in the big bend made it official, putting pen to paper on the final day of the early signing period.
Over at Rickards, tailback Kelvin Dean Jr. signed to go play for Lane Kiffin and the Owls of Florida Atlantic. Dean rushed for over 900 yards in his senior season and 12 touchdowns.
Over at Godby, star wide receiver Trevor Solomon-Wilson put pen to paper officially making him a Buffalo Bull. The senior caught 30 passes for over 800 yards and 9 touchdowns.
Now the wait begins as the rest of our athletes will wait to sign on February 6th.
