TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - On Saturday night, the Florida State football team beat rival Miami for the sixth straight time in a win that was nothing short of exciting.

The Noles scored late in the fourth quarter to take the lead over the Canes and stopped Miami on their last drive to seal up the 29-24 win. Head coach Jimbo Fisher said is happy with the win, adding his team is evolving, though they still have a long way to go.

The biggest accomplishment for the Noles was their ability to change the momentum of the game, and then capitalize on it.

"Big time players making big time plays, no matter what the circumstance," said Fisher on Monday. "That's how momentum gets swung. Momentum of a game, we don't talk about it enough. When you have young players, it's very easy to let that snowball on you, to not have the mental toughness or the fortitude to understand that at the time it's happening and be able to do that. That's why I was so happy about our football team the other night, and two or three different times in the game."

Florida State hosts Louisville on Saturday. Kick-off is at noon.
