Jefferson came back to tie the game at 41 apiece in the 4th quarter, but the Cowboys pulled away late thanks to clutch basket from ZaMuary Page. Jefferson County had a chance to tie the game with .7 seconds left , but the buzzer sounded before the game-winning shot was let go.
Back in Tallahassee, Leon Tops Tri-Cities 60-48. The game was part of the 2016 Inspire MLK Invitational at Rickards High School.
