Tallahassee, FL (WTXL) -- Three former Noles returned to Madison Social in Tallahassee on Saturday afternoon for the Tallahassee Takeover. Former Noles Telvin Smith, Rashad Greene, and Jalen Ramsey all were back signing autographs for hundreds of fans. Noles fans waited down the block and around the corner for more than an hour in 90 degree heat.
"It means alot," Greene said. "To get that same love you had when you were in college. To be able to come back here after my collegiate career and still have the same fanbase is amazing."
Jacksonville Jaguars officials moved up the autograph time slot to account for the heat as fans waited to get their footballs, pictures, and football cards signed.
"It's just incredible," Telvin Smith said. "Not just for us to want to come back, but for people to want to be around us for what we did when we were here. That's the beauty of it all-- of winning a championship as a team. You will forever have a home."
FSU won the National Championship during the 2013 season over Auburn 34-31.
Jalen Ramsey was the Jaguars first round draft pick this year. He suffered a small meniscus tear earlier in the spring, but says he is fine now. He did not want to answer any questions about his injury.
"I am 100 percent next question," Ramsey answered. "I don't want to answer any questions about my injury right now because I am 100 percent healthy so it doesn't really matter."
The Tallahassee Takeover also featured a live DJ and several games. Jacksonville opens the preseason against the New York Jets on August 11th.
