THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) - AA boys soccer teams in South Georgia have gotten pretty familiar with seeing Thomasville in the State Final Four. Last week, the Bulldogs sealed up their third straight trip, and this time, they're looking for a win. The last two years, this is where the Dawgs season has ended, in the state Final Four. Putnam County is the opponent Wednesday.

This year's Bulldogs are battle tested. They've played a lot of bigger teams this year, and in the second round, they beat Woodville-Tompkins in overtime. Now, they're ready for their next challenge.

"They play a very similar style to some of the other teams we've played against this year," said head coach Keith Gwaltney. "They have one guy that's kind of a stud. I'm not going to say we are 100 percent kean on him. But, we know that he is very very dangerous, and if we can somehow neutralize him or minimize his chances then that's going to give us a better opportunity."

Thomasville's match-up with Putnam County is set for a 6:00 kick at Thomasville.
