WTXL — St. John Paull II, Leon and Sneads volleyball, all with an opportunity this afternoon to punch their tickets to their respective state championship games next Saturday.

First in class 2-A St. John Paul II winning another close nail biter in five sets over Geneva. The Panthers set their sights on that state title where Lake Worth Christian awaits.

Leon's quest for back to back state titles, also alive and well after the Lions made quick work of St. Petersburg today in a three-set sweep. Leon will face off against Mater Academy Charter.

And let’s not forget Sneads who swept Baker today clinching their spot in the title game where Newberry, an all too familiar foe from earlier this season, stands between them and a state championship.

“These girls don’t just play for themselves, they play for everybody," said Sneads head volleyball coach Heather Edge. "They play for each other, they play for these fans, they play for these mamas, these daddies, this community.”
