Rickards' track star celebrates signing to Purdue

TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - Rickards track stand-out Jabari Bryant won two State titles this year and set the National number one time in the 300M hurdles.

Bryant announced he'll take his talents to Purdue, and on Friday, he celebrated that signing with friends and family.

"I'm relieved, happy, kinda sad at the same time going so far away from family and friends," he said of his big day. "I just trusted my coaches and family talked to them about teh schools. We made the decisio. I feel like I can go to Purdue and produce and grow."

Bryant said he plans to major in criminal justice, with dreams of working with the DEA one day.
