LAKELAND, Fl. (WTXL) — The Rickards boys basketball team can now call themselves state champions. The raiders defeated Pembroke Pines Charter Saturday afternoon with a 67-60 score in Lakeland.
The raiders have fallen the past few years in the finals, as well as the elite 8, but said that this year would be different.
Zackary White and Ke'Varius Taylor each had 19 points to help lift the raiders over the jaguars.
