TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) — Friday evening began a true home field advantage for the Rickards baseball team. The school has not played on campus since about 1991-1992, which is the last time head coach Charles Williams can remember the Raiders playing at home.
Superintendent Rocky Hanna threw out the first pitch for Friday's game. Hanna had a big part in helping Rickards get an on-campus field.
Williams said he along with his players are very excited to finally be back home. "The guys loves it," said Williams. "We can now have a true home field advantage. Have our students here, have our teachers here, so the guys are tremendously excited. So, we're just glad to get here today."
