Munroe looks to build off undefeated season

QUINCY, Fla. (WTXL) — The Munroe Bobcats are undefeated, 5-0 for the first time in school history.

Before this season, this senior class had won just six games total.

It's been a journey to get to this point, and what's really exciting is head coach Alex Lehky says they haven't had a week where this team has been 100 percent healthy.

"As a testament to these kids, it's been next man up," said Lehky. "We've had guys that weren't starters start all over the place and have been successful. It's been amazing to see this group really gel together. We saw it this summer in workouts and then they really took the next step with the uncertainty of the season - when we were going to start if we were even going to have a season. The guys just stayed together and they kept grinding."

Munroe looks to stay perfect this week when they host Rocky Bayou. Kick-off is at 6 p.m.
