TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) — A Maclay Marauder is headed to the next level in her diving career. On Tuesday, Kendall Minter signed her letter of intent with the swimming and diving team at Auburn University.

Minter was originally a cheerleader but switched to diving. She explained that the adrenaline she gets from making a great dive is a feeling unlike any other.

Besides diving at a Divsion I school, the way the campus and the team makes her feel is what Minter loves the most about Auburn. "Everyone's there for the right reasons. It's so supportive and such a family between all of the teammates in swimming and diving. I just felt so welcomed on campus. I loved it, it was so amazing."

Minter finished 3rd in the 1A state championship.
