TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Lincoln head football coach Quinn Gray and assistant coach Brandon Youmans will be suspended for the Trojans’ next game at Crestview.

Friday morning, Scott Hansen, the Director of Student Activities for Leon County, called Lincoln Athletic Director Joe Vallese and Lincoln Principal Dr. Allen Burch to tell them that head coach Quinn Gray and Assistant Coach Brandon Youmans, who was allegedly in the video, wouldn't be allowed to go to next week's game against Crestview.

The pair of coaches were suspended after video came to light of the football players saying a pregame chant that contained cursing. Hansen says that this was the third time that the students were seen jumping around saying the chant in a huddle pregame.

A video of the chant was recorded Thursday night before the Leon game, which was then shown to the county office.

Vallesse said that he nor the Lincoln administration had any idea about the past events at Navarre and Chiles until Friday morning. If they did, he says they would have put a stop to it.

Gray and Youmans will not be able to travel with the team to Crestview, a District 1-7A game, but they are allowed to practice with the team leading up to the match-up.

As of now, It's unclear who will lead the Trojans when they take on Bulldogs.
