TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - It was a happy signing day for Tallahassee twins Noah and Jacob Paterson Friday, who signed to play baseball with Thomas University. Over 80 friends and family showed up to celebrate the twins. Noah plays middle infield, while Jacob is an outfielder.

At Rickards, boys soccer stand-out Amaru Carney signined with Anna Marie College. Carney is one of few Raider soccer players to sign a letter of intent, as the last was in 2016. Anna Marie is a long ways from home. The school is located in Massachusetts, but Carney said he's excited for this next step.

"The coaches kept in contact with me said they love what I do, said I have a spot," he said Friday. "I know it's going to be cold, but I'm going to take it and love with it. I plan on going here and giving it everything I got and hope it pays off."

Carney added he has plans to study archaeology.
