TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - This weekend, over a dozen boys basketball teams will hoops for a cause at the 2nd Annual Tyler Biggins Basketball Classic at Godby High School. Biggins was killed in a car accident in 2012 in Tallahassee. His dad played basketball at Godby High, and now helps coach there.

For Cougar head coach Andy Colville, this tournament is the least he said he can do to help out the Biggins family, as some of the proceeds will be donated to a scholarship fund in honor of Biggins.

"I remember the young man running around the gym when he was young and how much he loved basketball," he said. "Actually, this would have been his senior year this year,. I can't imagine what they've been through this family. If we can bring them anything that brings them smiles, that's what I want to do."

Students are $5 to get in, adults are $10.
