MADISON COUNTY, Fl. (WTXL) — After being down by four points headed into the 4th quarter, the Madison County girls basketball squad scored 9 unanswered points to regain the lead.

Lafayette would only be able to get two points on the board in the final quarter, as they fall to Madison County 42-37.

"With the first half, basically more of the tightness and the tension of the game, and that adrenaline rush," said Madison County head coach Christopher Neal. "So, once they calmed down and understand that the same thing they've been doing all year, we need to do now. If you're used to back down and not play defense and moving our feet, it's helped us throughout the season. Understanding that and bringing it back to the reality of that is what got us back in the game."
