TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - The Chiles High volleyball team went 23-4 last year and had a wealth of senior leadership. They're young this season, but the good thing? Head coach Kaitlin DiLuzio said she's expecting the new faces to make an impact.

There were some freshman starters last year, and she's looking for that experience to help lead this team. Chiles always boasts a tough slate, but coach is excited about how they've been working and to see what they can do this season.

"Right now we're working on consistency with our youngers players, and building on where we finished last year with our returners," she said. "We do have a good group of returners even though we lost nine seniors, but we were lucky last year to work in a lot of out younger kids. This year, we're looking to be consistent, and then we'll also look to make a big difference right out of the gate like we did last season."

Chiles opens the season at Sneads on August 20th.
