WTXL — The Chiles High School girls swim and dive team took home their second straight Class 3A State Championship on Friday. The title is their seventh since 2010. The Timberwolves' boys finished in third place.
The girls cruised to a 34-point victory over second place Fleming Island. Lydia Hanlon took home first place in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 53.74. She also was the State Champion in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 54.44.
On the boys side, Hayden Kwan took first in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 48.62.
