TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) — Chiles boys basketball set to hit the hardwood for their first game of the preseason Tuesday night. The timberwolves will be at Port St. Joe.
Today, the team had practice and head coach Rick Davis said you will see a lot of talent out on the court this season. He also has six seniors leading the way.
"Last year, we ended the season pretty well last year," said Davis. "This year, I think with the expectations of the seniors coming in and the underclassmen coming up, I think we have a good chance of being successful this year. Right now, we just have to find the chemistry and find a good mix for our guys. Right now, we're pushing the ball up the court, we're playing hard, the team seems to be gelling."
The timberwolves went 11-20 in the 2018-2019 season.
