TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) — Rickards High's football team got a nice Valentine's Day gift. A brand new locker room for players was unveiled on Friday.

The idea for the new locker room started in June. Lively Technical Center in Tallahassee hand-made each wooden locker. They're also customized with name-plates. Plus, former Redskins and Raiders who played in the N-F-L adorn the walls of the new room.

It is a sight to see and one head coach Quintin Lewis is proud of. "The reaction I got from the kids was amazing," explained Lewis. "It kind of choked me up a little bit because they really love it. We found four or five of them sitting in the locker room in awe of what we've done for them and appreciative of what's going on."
