On Friday afternoon, two of the best girls basketball players in the big bend officially signed their letter of intent to move on and play at the next level.
At FAMU DRS, the day belonged to Ayesia Vickers, who after just one season of high school basketball will be taking her talents to Albany Tech. The guard was instrumental for the Baby Rattlers this season and led them to a berth in Lakeland.
At Rickards, Renia Hawkins also signed the dotted line and she will be headed to Albany Tech to become a Titan as well. The Forward led the Raiders to the postseason in her final campaign.
