HAMILTON COUNTY, Fl. (WTXL) — The Trojans of Hamilton County went 1-9 in the 2018 season. Richard Vester is the new head coach and yet he's the fourth one in the last three years. So, if you did not know, the football program has been through a couple of rough patches.

Coach Vester is looking to change that for the 2019 season. He's hoping to bring trust and consistency for his players. "Teaching them how to win and be winners on and off the field, in the classroom, out in the community and really just changing the whole culture. Our theory is that if we can change one kid, it can change a team, it can change a school, and the school can change a community."

Hamilton County's first game is Aug. 23rd at Lafayette.
