TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Most high school football teams in the state of Georgia already have at least one scrimmage under their belt. This week in Florida, teams get to take the field for the first time as preseason match-ups hit the field.
At Gene Cox Stadium in Tallahassee, the Godby Cougars hosted Bainbridge in an exhibition match-up. Dameon Pierce, the Alabama commit, but Bainbridge on the board in the first quarter, and Bainbridge didn't look back winning 14-0.
At Chiles High School, the Timberwolves went up 21-0 early over Navarre. The starters came out midway through the third quarter up 21-14. The Raiders came back to tie it at 21, and that would be the end result.
