Godby Standout Celebrates College Signing Friday

Posted

TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - Last week was signing day for several of our Big Bend and South Georgia football players. At Godby, several guys chose to sign early.

Defensive end Kyler Laing was one of of those athletes, as he signed with Buffalo. On Friday night, Laing celebrated with his family and friends.

Laing was committed to South Florida for a while, but he decommitted earlier this year, and making the decision to become a Buffalo Bull instead? An easy one.

"It's always been a family vibe. When I stepped off the plane on my official visit in June, I felt a connection between the coaches," he said Friday. "It's just a good family vibe. It's just a blessing, how far I've come, all my family and friends supporting me throughout this process."

Although Laing signed early, he will not early enroll at Buffalo.
