Godby's Tarian Lee, Jr. Receives Honorary Under Armour All-America Jersey

TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - Since 2008, the best high school football players in the country have been invited to showcase their talents at the Under All-America Game. Just 80 players are selected each year to compete, and over the years, Godby High School in Tallahassee has had two of them, with with Tarian Lee, Jr. the latest edition.

The linebacker and Texas A&M commit received his honorary jersey Thursday in front of friends and family, a day he said he always dreamed of.

"My whole family graduated from here," he said. "Just to be here and leave my own trademark, my own legacy, that's only certain can do, and I'm just glad I'm one of the few. This was a hand picked selection. I feel like there was a reason I was selected and I just was amazed that there were so many people that believed in me."

This year's Under Armour All-America game will be held January 3rd at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
