Bragg Memorial Stadium saw football for the first time on Saturday afternoon as the stadium and it's new turf hosted the second annual Jonathan A.P. Ferrell kickoff classic.
In game one, the Godby Cougars hosted Miami Northwestern.
Quarterback Trey Fisher finished with two big touchdown passes but the Cougars would fall to the Bulls 28-19 in a weather shortened game in the third quarter.
In the nightcap, the Rickards Raiders played host to Carol City, one of the best teams in the state of Florida.
From start to finish the Chiefs dominated, and would go on to win 62-0.
The Cougars will open their season next Friday with Chiles while the Raiders will play host to North Marion.
